Why the difference?

With BYOK plans, you pay the AI provider directly, so you can try Tag risk-free.

With Managed plans, Tag covers the AI costs on your behalf. To prevent unexpected AI charges, these plans do not include a free trial.

Instead, when you subscribe to a Managed plan, we provide $10 in AI credits so you can test the platform. If Tag isn’t a fit, we’ll refund your subscription fee, less the cost of any AI credits used.

Nope. If you choose a plan with a free trial you will not be asked for credit card information at the checkout.

If you choose to continue with the subscription after the free trial, simply access the customer billing portal in Tag, and enter your credit card information.

Your credit card on file will only be charged after the free trial ends.

If there is no credit card on file, then your subscription will be moved to the “cancelled” state automatically.

You may cancel or reactivate the subscription at any time through the customer billing portal.

Of course. There is a ~15% discount on annual plans.
